Originally from Poulsbo, Dr. Becken moved back to the Kitsap area and opened Kitsap Audiology in 1993. Dr. Becken has cherished her ongoing relationship with her patients over the years that she has been in private practice.
Dr. Becken received her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree from Western Washington University. She graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Becken enjoys her three dogs, gardening and boating. She has lived in Gig Harbor since 2006. She is a member of the Gig Harbor Yacht Club. She has two grown sons. Alex graduated in May 2019 from Montana State University in Bozeman. He is a Montana Highway Patrolman (MHP #348) in Bozeman, Montana. Zachary served in the US Army 82nd Airborne division for five years. He is currently attending Wyo Tech in Laramie, Wyoming.
Dr. Shannon graduated from Western Washington University in 1992 with a Masters of Arts degree in Audiology, and returned for her Doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has been with Kitsap Audiology since June 2012. Dr. Shannon has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Becken from 1991-1993, before Amy opened Kitsap Audiology. She has previously worked at Group Health Cooperative, and managed the hearing aid clinic at Harborview Medical Center.
Dr. Shannon lives in Sammamish with her husband of 25 years and her three cats. She has two daughters, both in college pursuing their dream careers. Dr. Shannon and her husband Todd like to attend Seahawk, Mariner, and Sounders games whenever possible.
Eva has worked for Kitsap Audiology since 2005. She is a graduate of Western Washington University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She is well-versed in insurance, all aspects of medical billing, office accounting, and human resources.
When she isn’t at the office, Eva is busy with her two daughters who are involved in soccer, dance, basketball, swim, and Junior rodeo. She also spends a lot of her time riding her horses with the Kitsap County Stampede Starlets, and is the leader of this great team of ladies and their equine companions.
Tina has worked for Kitsap Audiology since 2010. She is a graduate of Ballinger X Ray Technician School. Proficient in all aspects of state and federal claims, she is a fantastic resource for our patients that have noise induced hearing loss due to their jobs.
In her down time she enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in activities such dance, soccer, and swim. She also enjoys camping, traveling, and vacationing. Tina is currently working from home while home schooling her two children.
Born and raised in Port Orchard Wa, Halie comes to us with a background as a certified nursing assistant. She graduated high school with her associate degree then went on to play basketball for Olympic College and pursue her passion for the medical field. She worked at a few nursing homes before coming to join our team. When Halie isn’t in office she stays busy. She enjoys spending time with her two Rottweilers as well as barrel racing her horses. Halie has a passion for the outdoors and when she isn’t on the basketball court or the back of her horse she loves spending time hiking, camping and spending time with her family.
Beth Originally located to Gig Harbor to be near her family after owing her own Business for several years. I’ve been taking advantage of what the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer. Whether it is spending an afternoon at a Mariner’s game, kayaking on Wollochet Bay or discovering new hiking trails with my German Shepard Kaya. I’m grateful for such a warm community and hope to contribute in a positive way.
Golda was originally born in Germany and came into this country in 1979. She lived in the Netherlands and Monterey California before moving to Washington State.
Golda has been Licensed for over 25 years and is committed to helping those with communication problems due to hearing loss, by combining integrity and compassion. She has a unique ability to explain the strategies of treating hearing loss. Golda has helped a wide range of individuals with hearing loss. She has an expansive knowledge of the latest digital hearing instruments. She has been expertly trained in the newest wireless hearing devices and connectivity technology and has a distinctive approach in demonstrating how today’s modern devices connect to cell phones, home phones and TV’s.
With her experience she’s dispensed and adjusted thousands of hearing devices leading to better quality of life for her Patients.
In her down time, she enjoys going glamping with her husband and her little dog, they also enjoy riding their Can Am Spyder.
